 Objective:

The primary objective of the training was to raise awareness and educate individuals about

essential road safety and traffic rules to reduce accidents and promote responsible behavior

among all road users.

Key Topics Discussed:

1. Safety Rules for Pedestrians:

o  Always use footpaths and zebra crossings.

o Look both ways before crossing the road.

o Avoid distractions like mobile phones or headphones while walking.

o Follow pedestrian traffic signals strictly.

2. Traffic Rules for Two-Wheeler Riders:

o Always wear a helmet (both rider and pillion).

o Do not overload or carry more than one person.

o Follow lane discipline and signal before turning.

o Avoid speeding and stunts on roads.

3. Traffic Rules for Four-Wheeler Drivers:

o Always wear seat belts (driver and front-seat passenger).

o Follow traffic signals and road signs strictly.

o Avoid using mobile phones while driving.

o Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

4. Safety Measures for Back Seat Passengers:

o Always wear seat belts even in the back seat.

o Do not distract the driver.

o Children should be seated in proper child restraint seats, if required.

5. Safety Guidelines for Cyclists:

o Wear a helmet and reflective clothing, especially during night rides.

o Use cycle lanes wherever available.

o Keep to the left side of the road and signal properly while turning.

o Ensure the bicycle is in good condition with working brakes and lights.
